Modeling Artist

We are currently in search of Modelers with minimum of 2-3 years of experience to join our Game Art Team

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create models as well as sculpt (sets, props, characters, etc.), following the creative direction of the designated supervisor.
  • Follow leads and supervisors’ direction, ensuring that the models created are precise and accurate.
  • Complete assigned modeling tasks in a timely manner and ensure all working files are efficiently organized at all times.
  • Fully comprehend the requirements on the designs, thereby creating models true to their designs, whether organic or mechanical in nature.
  • Address feedback and modify models by following the creative direction of the Supervising Modeler, Production Designer, and Cinematics Director/Producer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of Modeling experience in Photo-Real VFX, Commercials, VR or CG Animation Films.
  • Proficiency in Maya, Z-brush / Mudbox and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Excellent knowledge of displacement map and normal map generation in both Maya and Z-Brush.
  • Knowledge of UV layout is a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of polygonal and / or patch geometry modeling.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve any technical or artistic issues.
  • Excellent team player with good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of file and asset management skills.
  • Flexibility to work in swing – Morning / Evening shifts.

Production Coordinator

We are currently in search of Co-Ordinators with minimum of 2 years of experience to join our Project Management Team

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Schedule and track progress of tasks for assigned artists or sequences in the production system.
  • Track and maintain database of revisions, omits, and shot length changes; notifies the affected crew as needed.
  • Partner with other production personnel to ensure shots are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with artists on a daily basis to ensure task deliveries remain on schedule, communicating any scheduling changes to the appropriate Artists, Heads of Department and Production team as needed.
  • Coordinate all client deliveries, both physical deliveries and digital deliveries via approved Client designated system.
  • Maintain log of all deliveries and manages meeting schedule and rounds with HODs, taking and publishing notes for the team.
  • Set up dailies and all client review sessions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in VFX production or feature animation.
  • BA or BS degree in film, art, communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Good knowledge of Office tools such as MS Excel.
  • Experience with some production tracking software and asset management software, preferably Shotgun will be a plus.
  • Schedule management experience in an extremely time-sensitive atmosphere, preferably in highly technical, dynamic departments.
  • Must possess a high level of written, verbal, negotiation, decision making and analytical skills.
  • Must possess highly developed communication skills to facilitate interdepartmental needs and schedules required, exhibiting a consistent standard of excellence in all business communications.

Lighting / Lookdev Artist

We are currently in search of Lighting / Lookdev Artists with minimum 3-4 years of experience to join our Lighting Team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work closely with Lighting Lead, Virtual Production Developer and VFX Supe to develop realistic lighting solutions.
  • Help guide the look and feel of lighting for each project.
  • Perform look development of CG assets and characters.
  • Help deliver solutions on integrating lighting setups into the existing pipelines.
  • Offering creative or technical solutions to problems where necessary.
  • Oversee and help optimize VFX / CG shots for rendering.
  • Translate 2D concepts and use a wide variety of lighting techniques to capture the vision laid out by the Art / Creative Director.
  • Understand rendering tool capabilities and artistic direction to tackle the challenges that will impact lighting.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments.

Qualifications

  • Experience using Maya and rendering tools such as Redshift, Arnold, V-Ray etc.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas.
  • Ability to take directions and adaptable to change.
  • Experience at improvising and problem-solving.
  • Comfortability delivering on an expedited schedule.
  • Excellent artistic skills, with a strong emphasis on real-world lighting/photography.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Mid-Texturing Artist

We are currently in search of Mid Texturing Artists with minimum 3-4 years of experience to join our Game Art Team

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create texture maps / images for (sets, props, characters, etc.), following the creative direction of the designated supervisor.
  • Follow leads and supervisors’ direction, ensuring that the texture maps created are precise and accurate.
  • Complete assigned texturing tasks in a timely manner and ensure all working images are efficiently organized at all times.
  • Fully comprehend the requirements on the designs, thereby creating textures true to their designs, whether organic or inorganic in nature.
  • Address feedback and modify textures by following the creative direction of the Supervisor, Production Designer, and Cinematics Director/Producer.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of feature film VFX experience.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas.
  • Knowledge of Body Paint, Deep Paint, or other 3D paint packages is a plus.
  • Strong visual skills, and a good eye for detail, scale, composition, colour and form.
  • A good knowledge of how the texture painting work fits into the bigger picture, particularly in relation to modelling, shading, and look development.
  • Experience meeting deadlines while retaining a high quality of work.
  • Calm under pressure and committed to meet production deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in swing – Morning / Evening shifts.
